Karah Curtis is Lion’s Heart’s Enrollment Coordinator. She has been with the organization since 2005, first in the role of Class Coordinator for two groups, then as Chapter President, and now as Enrollment Coordinator.
She was an active Member of the PTA while her children attended the local public schools. She headed their Adopt-a-Book program in elementary school and chaired the Used Textbook committees at their middle school and high school. Karah was an active member of the Junior League in Orange County for eleven years. She was on the Christmas Company Steering Committee for many years and received the Treasure of the League award during her tenure.
Karah graduated with a psychology degree from Pomona College, in Claremont, California, where she earned All-American status as a swimmer and where she met her husband. She received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Claremont Graduate School. She taught elementary school in the Irvine and Ontario-Montclair School Districts for nine years prior to staying home to become a “domestic engineer.” Recently, Karah was awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award for Lifetime Achievement by volunteering over 4,000 hours!
In her spare time, Karah loves to play tennis. She is married to Carl, and they have two children, Trevor and Darby.
