02/04/2020 1:00P‑2:15P Today I helped in my sisters 5th grade class. At first I went into 'Makers space,' which is a science lad where you can build anything you want to, I helped the kids build their structures if they needed help. Then, I helped Mrs. Garritson grade papers. 1.25

12/15/2019 3:00P‑4:00P I made giving plates for people who are sick, neighbors, and friends. This made an impact on me because Christmas is about giving and that makes me happy. I also baked cookies and made Christmas ornaments to put on the plates. We have two elderly couples living in the neighborhood who don't seem to have a lot of family. I will bring them a plate to cheer them up. 1.00
12/13/2019 3:30P‑5:15P For the winter dance I helped set up the stage for the pictures with Santa. During the dance I ran the picture booth to make sure that everybody would take turns. I also helped set up and clean up after the event. 1.75

11/15/2019 3:45P‑4:45P At the Fall Carnival I worked at the face painting booth that was run by Yosemite Sierra Summer Camp (YSSC). There were stencils that I would stick onto the body part where the pattern would go. Then I would color in the stencil with any color they would want. 1.00
10/29/2019 4:00P‑5:30P Today I went to six different surf shops in Laguna Beach. I asked the cashier if they could hand out and put up a surfing Santa poster at their store to help raise awareness for the Surfing Santa Contest at Salt Creek Beach. I also asked them if they could pass out flyers. This made an impact on me because I have a disabled cousin who has autism. He has been able to go surfing with the help of vol 1.50

10/25/2019 3:30P‑5:30P For the Halloween dance I helped run the game booth. It was a "Wheel of dares" booth. The kids spun the wheel and got either the box of dares which is a box full of dares and if you do the dares you get candy. We also set up and cleaned up before and after the dance with PAL. 2.00
10/06/2019 11:00A‑1:00P Meal packing is packing meals to families in need around the world. Instead of worship service, Shoreline Church had a meal packing event at church. I helped put the food in the bag which serves as a meal. Each meal can feed 6 children. In total we packed 120,000 meals during three services. We also helped clean up the working space after the event. 2.00

The Victory house is a long time ministry partner with the Shoreline Church and is an incredible place that provides men with the community, support and structure they need to pursue lives of freedom and restoration. 09/25/2019 9:00A‑12:00P We live close to the beach and encounter the trash on the beach often. We found many plastic items that can hurt wildlife and kill animals in the ocean. It is important to raise more awareness of how our trash impacts our environment in a negative way. 3.00
